Mrs. Marjorie Learner Landsborough (April 15, 1884 ~ August 29, 1984) was born in  Crownthorpe of England. In early 1910, she came to Formosa and taught music and English at the present Chang Jung Senior High School in Tainan City. She has written four books:

1. 《In Beautiful Formosa - Being a Personally-conducted Tour of Boys and Girls to view the People, the Scenery, and the Work of  the Missionaries in strange and lovely places》(1922)

2. 《Stories from Formosa》(1924)

3. 《More Stories from Formosa》(1932)

4. 《Dr. LAN: a short biography of Dr. David Landsborough, medical missionary of the Presbyterian Church of England in Formosa. 1895-1936》(1957)

All four books were published by the Presbyterian Church of England. The Shoka, Formosa referred to in the original books written by Mrs. Marjorie Landsborough is presently the Changhua County, Taiwan. And the present Changhua Christian Hospital Organization overseen by the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan, was originally founded by Drs. David Landsborough, father and son, and other overseas missionaries has been a fast-expanding medical group in Central Taiwan:

- “Changhua Christian Hospital (abbreviated hereafter as CCH) was established in the year 1896, and grew under the selfless contributions of overseas missionaries, until the present day, 129 years later. Currently, CCH has several hospital sectors in central Taiwan: the main hospital sector at Nanguo Road, the Chunghua Road sector, and branch hospitals at Erlin, Lugang, Yuanlin, Nantou, and Shi-Lo.”

The Sunday School where Mrs. Marjorie Landsborough had taught for years as mentioned in her books is now the Dr. David Landsborough Memorial Church in Changhua City, Taiwan.
